9 BNP, Jamaat-Shibir activists arrested in Ctg

Police in an overnight drive arrested nine activists of BNP and Jamaat-Shibir from Sitakunda and Lohagara upazilas of Chittagong yesterday.
Of the arrestees, six are Jamaat activists, two are Shibir activists and one is BNP activist, said Naimul Hasan, additional superintendent of police (special branch) of Chittagong.
They are accused in several cases filed different police stations in the upazilas in connection with subversive activities.
