Appeal for help

Dasharath Das, 22, of Tarashi village in Kotalipara of Gopalganj, has been suffering from brain tumour for at least four months.

He is also facing hormonal problem. Now, he is being treated at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital.

Doctors said he needs at least Tk 4 lakh for his treatment.

Dasharath, who lost his father in a road accident when he was seven, was forced to leave school and start earning money for his four-member family.

By working in a factory, he married his two sisters off. But one of them got divorced over dowry and now she and her son are living with them.

Some youths from Dasharath's locality opened a Facebook page seeking help for him and got some response, which is not enough.

So, the family urged the well-off and also the prime minister for financial help.
