BBC Bangla Service to start 8-day programme to save rivers today

BBC Bangla Service will start an eight-day special programme titled "Amar Nodi" (My River) on its radio, online and social media today, highlighting the threat of extinction of the Bangladeshi rivers.
A special index on bbcbangla.com will bring stories, audio and video contents, picture galleries and an interactive map, says a press release. 
In addition, BBC Bangla radio will bring investigative reports focusing on ten rivers facing the threat and audio diaries of people whose livelihoods depend on those.
