Begum Nur Jahan

Begum Nur Jahan, mother of Prof ABM Faroque, former dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Dhaka University, died due to cancer yesterday. She was 79.

A doa mahfil will be held at Prof Faroque's residence on DU campus tomorrow after the Maghrib prayers.

Well-wishers are requested to attend the programme and pray for her deprted soul.
