BMMOA honours two Independence Award recipients in Ctg

Bangladesh Merchant Marine Officers Association (BMMOA) yesterday honoured late Rafiqul Islam and Abdus Salam as they were given Independence Award 2016 for their role in achieving recognition of February 21 as International Mother Language Day.
At a Chittagong city hotel, Dilraj Gul Islam, on behalf of her husband Rafiqul, and Abdus Salam received crests from Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin.
