Body of domestic help found hanging in capital

Police recovered the hanging body of a domestic help from a flat in the capital's Dogair Noorbag area yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Asma Khatun, 35.

SM Kawsar, officer-in-charge of Demra Police Station, said Asma might have suffered from depression over family life complications.

However, the reasons behind committing suicide could be ascertained after getting the autopsy report, the OC added.

Hailing from Bhola, Asma had been working as a domestic help in the house of Umme Habiba, a teacher of Samsul Haque Khan School, for the last four months, said the OC
