The body of Nasrin Akhter,32, who was allegedly murdered by her in-laws at Nawabganj of Dhaka, was exhumed yesterday 37 days after her death following a court order.

Officer-in-Charge of Nababganj police Saidur Rahman said the body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College morgue for autopsy as no autopsy was carried out after the death.

Nasrin Akhter, the wife of Saudi expatriate Abdul Mannan, was found dead at her in-laws' house on the night of March 1 when her parents heard that the in-laws beat her up and locked out the whole day. The in-laws, however, termed the death "a suicide." The victim's father filed a murder case with the Dhaka court on March 13, against five persons including her husband.
