Bogra BCL woman hacked by 'fellows'

Activists of a faction of Government Mojibur Rahman Women's College unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League allegedly hacked a fellow on the campus in Bogra Thursday evening.

Mottakia Akhtar, 18, an HSC second year student and a supporter of the unit president Anjuman Akhter Ayna, is being treated at Bogra Mohammad Ali Hospital. Police and campus sources said she was attacked by the group led by the unit secretary Ratna Sarkar over personal feud.

Despite repeated attempts, Ratna could not be contacted over the cellphone.
