Boiler explosion victim dies at DMCH

Arif Hossain, 17, who received severe burn injuries in a boiler explosion on Sunday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) yesterday afternoon. 

Arif, son of Abul Khayer of Sonaimuri in Noakhali, was a worker in the dyeing section of a garment factory at Mirpur-7 in the capital.

He had suffered 90 percent burns, said the hospital sources. His co-worker Swapon, who was also injured in the same incident, was undergoing treatment at DMCH.
