Boy drowns in Crescent Lake

A boy drowned in the Crescent Lake adjacent to Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in the capital yesterday.

Police said the boy, who could not be identified yet, was bathing with other children in the lake around 6:00pm.

When he did not emerge after taking a dip in the lake, locals informed police of the incident.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue.
