The Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) yesterday sought help from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) to determine the extent of damage and usability of the buildings, tilted during Wednesday's earthquake, in the city.

A letter, seeking two experts of Cuet to work in this regard, was given to its Vice-Chancellor, said Mohammad Shamim, a CDA officer.

A three-member investigation committee, formed soon after the earthquake, has identified nine such buildings that tilted more or less due to the earthquake, Shamim, also a member of the team, said.
