Death anniversary

Today is the 31st death anniversary of Rear Admiral Mahbub Ali Khan, also a former minister for communications and agriculture.

Wreaths will be placed at his Banani grave in Dhaka, said Shahina Khan Zaman, in a statement, on behalf of MA Khan Memorial Committee.

Besides, Qurankhwani, doa mahfils and food distribution among orphans will be held at the country's different places, including MA Khan's Dhanmondi residence on Road-5, House-40 after Maghrib prayers.

Bangladesh Navy will also hold programmes at all the naval bases.
