Death anniversary

Today is the 12th death anniversary of Amenna Rahman; wife of late Mashiur Rahman (Jadu Mia), a former minister.

A social worker, she died in Dhaka in 2003. She served as the women affairs secretary of National Awami Party.

To mark the day, food will be distributed among the destitute in the capital and a milad mahfil and a Qurankhani will be held at her village home in Sundarkhata of Nilphamari.

Another milad mahfil will be held in Shantir Bazar.
