Dr Naser elected Unesco Asia-Pacific region CR body chairman

Senior Secretary of Public Administration Ministry Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury was elected as the chairman of Unesco's committee on Conventions and Recommendations (CR) of the executive board on behalf of Asia-Pacific region at its headquarters in Paris yesterday.

The CR committee reviews and evaluates the human rights situations and the implementation progress report on education, culture and science in the member countries.

Dr Chowdhury is representing Bangladesh to Unesco in 2013-17 year.
