Duplex boards seized in Ctg

Customs intelligence officials seized duplex boards, worth around Tk 20 lakh and imported under bond facilities, in Faujdarhat Bypass area of Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong on Tuesday night.
Taj Accessories Private Ltd in Kalurghat area of the city imported the boards under bond facilities to make cartons, used for exporting garment products, said the officials. However, not making cartons it sold the boards in the local markets and were sending them by a covered van to the buyers in Dhaka, they added.
