Exportable electric fans siezed

Customs Intelligence officials siezed two covered vans loaded with electrical fans, which were made from the raw materials imported under bond facilities, worth Tk 2 crore in Faujdarhat area of Sitakunda upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

Under the bond facilities, the fans were supposed to be exported but the business, which imported the raw materials, tried to sell those in the country violating law, said officials.
