Fire breaks out at CNG station

Fire gutted a CNG filling station at Burichang on Dhaka-Chattogram highway yesterday, injuring two workers of the station.

Due to the explosion and subsequent fire, movement on the highway was restricted for an hour. Four units of fire brigade brought the blaze under control in one-and-a-half hours.

Jashim Uddin, assistant director of Cumilla Fire Brigade said 12 fire service vehicles were deployed to douse the blaze.
