Fire guts valuables of 7 shops in Raozan

Fire gutted valuables, worth Tk 2 lakh, of seven shops in Sultanpur area of Raozan upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.

The fire originated from an electric short circuit in a shop and soon spread to the adjacent ones around 1:00am, said Shahidur Rahman of Agrabad Fire Service Control Room.

On information, fire-fighters rushed there and doused the blaze around 1:45am, he added.
