Fire guts valuables of bank in Ctg

Fire gutted valuables, worth Tk 3 lakh, of a private bank on Jubilee Road in Chittagong city yesterday morning.

The fire originated from an electric short circuit in Uttara Bank Ltd's Jubilee Road branch around 7:30am, said Nazrul Islam of Agrabad Fire Service Control Room.

On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after an hour's effort.
