Fire guts valuables at house in Ctg

Fire gutted valuables worth Tk 6 lakh at a house in Boalkhali upazila of Chittagong early yesterday.
Fire service officials said the fire originated from an electric short circuit around 2:50am at the one-storey building in Yakubdandi village of the upazila.
On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 5:30am, the officials added.
