Former Saudi minister's death mourned

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali yesterday expressed deep shock at the death of former Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud Al Faisal.

"This is an irrecoverable loss for the Royal family, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the Muslim Ummah," he said in a condolence message to Saudi Foreign Minister Adel A Al-Jubeir.

The Bangladesh foreign minister appreciated the contributions of Faisal to the promotion of the cause of the Muslim Ummah for the last four decades.
