Girl 'molested by neighbour'

A four-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a neighbour in the capital's Sabujbagh on Saturday.

Abdus Salam, 30, took her to his shanty in the absence of his domestic help wife and molested her around 10:00am, said Kuddus Fakir, officer-in-charge of Sabujbagh Police Station. Salam has been on the run since the girl informed his parents of the matter at that night, he said. The girl's father filed a case against him.
