Claims BNP's Goyeshwar; Fakhrul flies to Bangkok for treatment

BNP standing committee member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy yesterday alleged that the incidents of murder, kidnapping and enforced disappearance in the country are taking place with the government's signal.

He made the remark at a Milad Mahfil organised to pray for an early recovery of ailing BNP standing committee member Tariqul Islam, who is now under treatment at a Singapore hospital, at the party's Naya Paltan central office in the capital.

The government plays the old record that BNP, Jamaat and Shibir men are responsible whenever any such incident takes place…, said Goyeshwar.

Pointing to quick rental power plant, he said crores of taka were plundered in the name of quick rental power plant but power situation was not developed.

FAKHRUL FLIES TO BANGKOK

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum yesterday left for Bangkok for medical treatment, said BNP chairperson's media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan. He is expected to return home on May 2.
