Hearing of charge framing against Fakhrul now on Oct 29
A Dhaka court yesterday adjourned till October 29 the hearing on charge faming against 29 BNP leaders including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Moudud Ahmed in an attempted murder case.
Police filed the case against the 29 BNP men and 1,200 unknown persons accusing them of obstructing law enforcers from discharging their duties, attempting to kill them and hurling crude bombs to create panic in the capital's Shantinagar and Malibagh on March 2, 2013 during the BNP-led agitation.
CONSTABLE FERDOUS KHALIL MURDER
Another Dhaka court will decide on August 20 whether it will accept the charges of the police constable Ferdous Khalil murder case against BNP leader Habibunnanbi Khan Sohel and six others.
Ferdous Khalil was killed following an arson attack in Bangla Motor on December 24, 2013 during an anti-government demonstration of the BNP-led of 18-party alliance (now 20-party).
