Jamaat to demonstrate countrywide tomorrow

Jamaat-e-Islami announced countrywide "peaceful demonstrations" for tomorrow demanding release of its top leaders, including Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, a war criminal who was sentenced to death, before Ramadan.

The announcement of the key ally in the BNP-led 20-party alliance came through a release yesterday. However, it did not mention any time and venue of staging the demonstration.
