LGED engineer arrested for misappropriating money in Ctg

An LGED engineer of Patiya upazila was arrested in Chittagong city yesterday in a case filed over misappropriating money of a road-construction project in Rangamati.

On information, a team of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested Ziaul Haque Dulal in Agrabad area, said ACC sources.

Later, he was sent to jail.

According to the ACC, Dulal misappropriated Tk 6.33 lakh by not constructing the road stretching from Marishya Bazar to Durchhari road at Baghaichhari in 2013.

He was a LGED engineer of Baghaichhari in Rangamati at that time.
