Lucky president, Shuvo general secretary of Chhatra Union

Bangladesh Chhatra Union, a student organisation backed by the Communist Party of Bangladesh, yesterday announced its new 41-member central body at its 37th council in the capital.

Lucky Akter, also known as an activist of Gonojagoron Mancha, and GM Jilani Shuvo have been elected as the president and general secretary respectively, said a press release.

The announcement came on the last day of its three-day national council at Mukti Bhaban which began on Sunday on Dhaka University.
