Man falls to death in capital

A person died after falling from the first floor of Kidney Foundation Hospital and Research Institute in the capital's Mirpur yesterday.

Nazrul Islam Talukdar, 50, a local of Mirpur, went to the hospital for regular check-up of his transplanted kidney, victim's brother said.

He fell on the concrete surface of the ground while looking for something below around 12:30pm, hospital sources said.

He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 1:30pm.
