Md Shahjahan no more

Mohammad Shahjahan, commander of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad, Cox's Bazar district unit has died yesterday.

The 68-year-old freedom fighter breathed his last yesterday noon at Cox's Bazar General Hospital.

He was suffering from Covid-19.

A veteran in politics, Shahjahan had joined Bangladesh Chhatra League in the late-60's and participated in the 69's mass uprising and 70's election as a student organiser.

Later he took part in the liberation war in 1971. 

He left behind his wife a daughter, 2 sons and host of well-wishers to mourn his death.
