Mohiuddin's death anniv today

Today is the 22nd death anniversary of Mohiuddin Ahmed, a Language Movement veteran and Liberation War organiser, says a press release.

Wreaths will be placed at his grave at the Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard in the capital's Mirpur at 10:30am today.

A milad mahfil will be held after Asr prayers at his Dhanmondi residence and various mosques in Pirojpur. On this day in 1997, Mohiuddin died in Dhaka.
