Mymensingh schoolboy found dead

Police recovered the body of a schoolboy from a jute field in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh yesterday afternoon.

Md Sajeeb,8, was son of Shafiqul Islam of the village and a first grader of Dhanikhola Govt Primary School in the area.

Quoting family, Md Moniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Trishal police, said Sajeeb went missing on April 13 from a playground.

Locals found his body lying in a jute field yesterday afternoon and informed police, who recovered and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

"The boy might have been strangled over previous enmity with his family," added the OC.

None was arrested yet.
