Novera Deepita's death anniversary today

Today is the ninth death anniversary of Novera Deepita, a former journalist of The Daily Star.

On this occasion, Novera Deepita Memorial Trust has arranged a milad mahfil at her mother's residence in the capital.

It also arranged prayers at her grave in Azimpur Graveyard, said a press release.

Novera, a gold medalist from the mass communication and journalism department of Dhaka University, died in 2006.

Every year, the trust awards Tk 25,000 to the student who achieves the highest grade in the department.
