Obituary

Kazi Md Ruhul Amin, a former employee of The Daily Star, died at a private hospital in the capital yesterday afternoon. He was 60.

He left behind his wife, three sons and a daughter, says a press release.

Amin was suffering from brain stroke and admitted to Ibne Sina Hospital recently with a broken leg.

He joined the newspaper in 1991 and retired as a personal assistant to the editor of The Daily Star in 2015.

His body was taken to his village home yesterday in Fulgazi of Feni for burial.
