Obituary

Sajjad Hassan Saleh (Nintu), a financial risk management professional, died at a hospital in Toronto, Canada, on August 12. He was 47.

He was diagnosed with metastatic renal cell carcinoma in May. He left behind his mother, wife and two sons.

He worked for Desh Group, BEPZA, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Duncan Brothers (Bangladesh) Ltd, and BRAC EPL in Bangladesh, and the globally renowned Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held after Juma prayers on August 21, in the capital's Dhanmondi Eidgah Masjid and he will be buried at Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in Mirpur.

A doa mahfil will be held August 22 after Asr prayers at Priyanka Community Centre, House No- 52/1, Road No-3A, Dhanmondi, Dhaka -1209.
