One dies in road crash

A woman was killed and another injured in a head-on collision between a car and a rickshaw-van on Bogra-Noagaon road in Dorgahat radio centre area of Kahaloo upazila in Bogra yesterday.

Shahida Begum, 35, wife of Abdus Samad of Shikorgram area in the upazila, was on the rickshaw van, said police.

The injured rickshaw van puller, whose identity could not be known immediately, was taken to the upazila health complex.
