Pro-AL panel sweeps Ruta election

Pro-Awami League yellow panel swept Rajshahi University Teachers' Association election yesterday bagging 14 of the 15 posts.

Prof Habibur Rahman, the election commissioner, announced the results officially in the evening.

Prof Ananda Kumar Saha of zoology and Prof M Rezaul Karim Badal of biochemistry and molecular science were elected president and general secretary respectively.
