RHD Engineers’ body elects new leadership

AKM Manir Hossain Pathan, additional chief engineer of Roads and Highways Department (RHD), and Amit Kumar Chakrabarty, its executive engineer, were elected president and general secretary for the executive committee of Roads and Highways Engineers Association's central committee. The election for the 2020-22 session was held at the capital's Sarak Bhaban and online on Saturday, says a press release.

M Abul Kalam Azad and Md Aamanullah, both superintendent engineers, were elected vice presidents. Md Rucunuzzaman and Syed Halimur Rahman were elected joint secretaires, and Shuvra Das, sub-divisional engineer, was elected organising secretary, the press release said.
