RMG factory catches fire

Fire damaged valuables worth Tk 2.5 lakh of a RMG factory in Shah Amanat Bridge area of Chittagong city early yesterday.

Fire Service officials said the fire originated at the store room of Haves Garments around 2:50am and damaged the valuables. Fire fighters doused the blaze after one and half-an-hour's effort.

However, the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, said the officials.
