Road accidents kill 4

Four people were killed and two injured in road accidents in three districts during the last two days.

Our Savar correspondent reports, two college students were killed as a bus rammed their motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Shrirampur area of Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka yesterday.

Sajib Rishad (21) was a BA first year student of Government Debendra College while Rashedul Islam (20) was BA first year student of Khan Bahadur Awlad Hossein Degree College in Manikganj, said highway police.

Our Dinajpur correspondent adds, Apel Mia (17), son of Rintu Mia, was killed and two people were injured as their speeding motorcycle hit a roadside tree in Sadar upazila of Rangpur on Saturday.

Hazrat Ali (18) and Mobarak Hossain (17) were undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, said police.

In Dinajpur, one Ansar Ali (35) was killed as his motorbike collided with a tractor in Nawabganj upazila yesterday.
