Road crashes kill 1, injure 2

A person was killed after a truck plunged to roadside ditch on Barisal-Dhaka highway in Goriar Par area in Barisal yesterday.
The deceased was Munir Hossain, 31, of Tilak area.

Meanwhile, In Gariarpar area of the city, a cop and an official of Bangladesh Bank Barisal branch were injured when a bus hit a covered-van carrying them on Barisal-Dhaka highway.

Toffazzal, a sub inspector of Airport Police Station, and Hosen Ali, Assistant Manager (cash), were transferring cash from Barishal to Dhaka.
