Road crashes kill four

Two members of a family were killed as a Bus hit their motorcycle on Benapole-Jessore highway in Beniali area of Jhikorgacha upazila in Jessore yesterday.

The deceased were Mosarraf Hossain, 55, and his only son Mahmudur Rahman Roni, 27.

Police said they seized the bus but the driver managed to flee.

In Dinajpur, Riazul Islam, 45, of Uttar Bholanathpur village was killed and his co-rider injured when a tank-lorry hit their bicycle on Dinajpur-Parbatipur road in Bekipool area of Chirirbandar upazila yesterday.

Meanwhile in Chittagong, Manjurul Huq, 48, of Mymensingh was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle from behind on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Bhatiary area of Sitakunda upazila yesterday.

Police seized the truck and its driver.
