S Korea, Maldives envoys meet president

Newly appointed South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Ahn Seong-doo and High Commissioner of the Maldives to Bangladesh Mohammed Asim made courtesy calls on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban yesterday.

Welcoming the envoy and addressing South Korea a good friend of Bangladesh, President urged South Korean entrepreneurs to come up with more investment in Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, president welcomed new Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh Mohammed Asim at a separate meeting and thanked the Maldives government for reopening resident mission in Dhaka.
