Salam Azad made BNP asst org secy, Tipu asst office secy

BNP leaders Abdus Salam Azad and Taiful Islam Tipu were made the party's assistant organising secretary and assistant office secretary respectively, said a press release yesterday.

Salam Azad is a senior vice president of Jubo Dal, while Tipu is one of its central committee members.

One of the posts of assistant organising secretary of BNP fell vacant following the death of Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintu who died of a heart attack on May 5.

Meanwhile, Abdul Malek and Kaiser Ahmed have been made president and secretary of the UK Chapter of BNP respectively.  Besides, the chapter's incumbent president Shayesta Chowdhury Quddus was appointed as its chief adviser.
