SC upholds Aman's bail in nine cases

The Supreme Court yesterday upheld the High Court's bail orders for BNP leader Amanullah Aman in nine violence cases filed during the anti-government movement throughout the start of this year.

Aman's lawyer Sagir Hossain Leon told The Daily Star now there is no legal bar to his client's release from prison.

Aman, who is accused in total 69 cases, got bail from the lower court and the HC in all the cases.
