Seminar on language, culture held in Shilpakala Academy

American Alumni Association in partnership with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy held a seminar "Languages and its Influence on Philosophy and Culture" in the academy's Chitrashala Auditorium yesterday.

Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed as chief guest highlighted Bangla language at the programme, says a press release.

Asst Prof Abdus Selim of North South University, Prof Prashanta Tripura of Brac University, Javed Hussen and ASA University Vice Chancellor Prof Dalem Chandra Barman discussed different languages including English and Urdu.

AAA EC member Moushumi Shabnam moderated the seminar.
