Seminar on skin cancer held at RU

A seminar on Melanoma, a type of skin cancer that generally occurs due to the impact of Tumor and Arsenic, was held at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.

Dr Azizul Haque, associate professor of Microbiology and Immunology department of Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the US, conducted the seminar titled "Immune Recognition of Melanoma", organised by Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department.

In Bangladesh MUSC selected RU for its research works under a project.
