Session jam free National Univ by 2018: VC

Prof Harun-or-Rashid, vice chancellor of National University (NU), has said the university would become completely free from session jam by the year 2018.

He said this while addressing a views-sharing meeting, "Management in National University" on Friday, organised by the NU authority in Rangpur Carmichael College auditorium, attended by principals of the colleges under NU in Rangpur region.

Prof Harun said the present NU administration has taken a three-year plan to free the university from session jam and decentralise administration for development in the academic sector.

"We have launched online services for admission and conducting all other activities of colleges to ease previous complexities," the VC said.

NU Treasurer Noman-ur-Rashid, Director (Information Technology) Mominul Islam, Rangpur Regional Director Rabiul Haque, and Assistant Director SM Tahmidur Rahman, addressed the meeting.
