Tangail road crash kills 2

Two people were killed and three others were injured in a road accident at Kalihati upazila in Tangail early yesterday.
The deceased are Sanwar Hossain, an Ansar personnel, and Sabuj Miah, employee of a tobacco company. Both of them hailed from Gopalganj district.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Md Kamal Hossain, in-charge of Elenga Highway Police Outpost, said the accident took place around 2am when an unidentified vehicle hit a Rangpur-bound microbus from Dhaka.
The force of the collision killed two of its passengers on the spot, the official said.
The three injured microbus passengers, including its driver, were rushed to Tangail General Hospital.
Highway police are trying to identify the unidentified vehicle, which managed to flee the spot, the official added.
