Teenage boy found dead with throat slit at home

The body of a school student with his throat slit was found in their rented house in the capital's Dakkhin Dania yesterday.

The victim, Rabiul Islam Shawadhin, 17, appeared at the recently held SCC examination from Muradpur Samirunnesa High School.

Officer-in-Charge of Kadamtali Police Station Kazi Wazed Ali said on information they recovered the body from the ground floor at 1:00pm.

Rina Begum, mother of the victim, said they went to a relative's house in the area keeping her son alone at their home and returned to it after hearing this news. The victim's father Sohel is a transport worker.
