Ten hurt in JP factional clash in Sylhet

At least 10 people were injured in a factional clash of Jatiya Party at Circuit House in Sylhet city Wednesday evening.

The clash ensued between the party activists loyal to district unit Convener Abdullah Siddique and JP lawmaker Md Yahya Chowdhury when the two groups tried to meet central committee General Secretary Jiauddin Bablu, party sources said.

Kotwali police said 18 people were arrested in this regard.
